L4 - Better Care Together
Better Care Together has been set up to create improved and sustainable health and care services for the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).
The partnership brings together NHS organisations and local authorities in LLR. These organisations commission and provide health and care services for over one million people in our area.
Every day, NHS and council staff support the local population to stay healthy and lead independent lives and when people fall ill we are there for them, their carers and families.
Better Care Together for LLR, has already delivered many improvements to local healthcare services.
But over the next five years the health and care system will need to adapt and improve in order to ensure that it remains clinically and financially sustainable in the face of increasing demand.
Our document setting out the Next Steps for Better Care Together in the local areas will be published in July.
